Install NVIDIA drivers Ubuntu 18.04

From fresh Ubuntu 18.04 install. I installed from '18.04.1-live-server-amd64.iso'

Step-by-step guide

These steps assume you already have the desired NVIDIA '.run' file downloaded. If you need to obtain the NVIDIA driver '.run' file, please visit this article: Reinstall NVIDIA drivers for Ubuntu 16.04

apt-get -y update 
apt-get -y upgrade
apt-get -y dist-upgrade

apt install make
apt install gcc
```

bash -c "echo blacklist nouveau > /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nvidia-nouveau.conf"

bash -c "echo options nouveau modeset=0 >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nvidia-nouveau.conf"

## install dracut-core package
apt install dracut-core
dracut -f
reboot

init 3
```

## install the Nvidia driver. You may need to download it if it does not exist.  
## https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
./NVIDIA-Linux-???_??-???.??.run
