[Ubuntu] Unable to manage Network via GUI

If you are unable to manage your Network ports via GUI (Settings), then use the following command below as root:

sudo touch /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/10-globally-managed-devices.conf

Base Server Ubuntu LTS installation method defaults to NetworkManager, but does not create the globally-managed-devices file.
