Scheduling Palletized Freight Pick-up Service

Basic Information Required

Whether you are scheduling Freight shipment on your own, or facilitating between departments/contacts, you will need the following information when searching for Freight service quotes or when ready to schedule the pick-up.

 How to decide whether you need Lift-Gate Service

If your site/campus has a shipping ramp or shipping gate, then you do not need a Freight Pick-up with Lift-Gate as long as your address directs the Freight Pick-up driver to your shipping gate/ramp area.

Scheduling Freight Pick-up Service on your own

Freight services varies from locaiton to location. If you are concerned for pricing, you should look up freight service providers that are local to you and give them a call or visit their website.

If you need Exxact to schedule Freight Pick-up Services on your behalf (cost-associated)

If you need Exxact to schedule freight services, Exxact representatives will need to generate a Shipping Quote that will require payment in advance. Exxact is as much as a customer to shipping/freight services as anyone else. The process to provide you a quote, process payment, and schedule the Freight Shipment and instructions may take a few days.

Customer bears all liability for shipping damage(s) regardless if Exxact is the party scheduling Freight Pick-up Services. Exxact is not packaging the system before it goes into transit from customer's location, but will advise as much as possible to ensure the safety of the system before it is picked up from a Freight Service provider.

Estimates

Estimates are based from Exxact's repair center in Fremont, CA. No declared value/insurance for US-Domestic (48 Contiguous States), and minimal value declared for International shipments.

Freight both ways (Pick-up, and return shipment)

Under Exxact System Warranty, Exxact will bear the cost of the return shipment to the customer if the initially reported system issue is found and repaired.

This type of shipment would apply to:

  • OOW (Out-of-Warranty) repair requests - where Exxact System is outside of warranty period, but labor/service is still requested for the system to be diagnosed and repaired (best-effort) at Exxact
  • NTF (No Trouble Found) - if System RMA results in clean hardware diagnostics (originally reported issue is NOT found, or if problem found is not covered under System Warranty Scope), then customer is liable for return freight shipping costs

If you need Exxact to ship you a System Box, Pallet, and then to schedule Freight Pick-up services on your behalf (once the system is packed up, palletized, and ready for pick-up from your end).
