How to run Exxact's Support Tool.
Prerequisites
- Network connectivity
- NVIDIA driver installed and working
- You can use 'nvidia-smi' command to test whether the driver is working
If the system does not have network (or if you are not confident in using Linux with your Linux machine; please contact your local IT/Admin team), you should understand how difficult it makes to troubleshoot that system remotely. The physical system would need to be shipped back to Exxact for further troubleshooting/repair.
How to download and run the script
wget http://cpq.exxactcorp.com:8081/support/uploads/exxactSupportTool-1.3.tgz tar -xf exxactSupportTool-1.3.tgz cd ExxactSupportTool ./exxactSupport.sh
Instructions
It will ask for Exxact Ticket# or System Serial#. Please insert the Ticket# AND System Serial# with NO SPACES OR FORWARD SLASH '/'.
Example: ESSD-2013.46221xxxxx
Once you press 'enter', it will gather the logs and upload them to Exxact Support team within seconds. Please inform support team once the logs have been updated to trigger the Support Ticket to await 'support response'.
