[Windows] Changing volume of virtual memory

Adjusting virtual memory size on Windows 10. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Start > File Explorer 


  2. [Right-Click] "This PC" > Properties


  3. Advanced System Settings


  4. 'Advanced' tab > 'Performance' box 'Settings'


  5. 'Virtual memory' box 'Change'


  6. Un-check 'Automatically manage paging file size for all drives'


  7. Move Paging file to another partition
    - or check "No paging file" if you would like to disable that file 
    - or set Custom size for paging file
    - click 'Set' after making that selection
