[BIOS] Flashing BIOS

When you need to flash BIOS for the motherboard. I am using a Supermicro Motherboard for this example

Step-by-step guide

Download latest Supermicro firmware for system
Create Bootable USB Stick with Rufus
Extract files into the newly created bootable USB stick from Step 2
Turn on system, and boot into the bootable USB containing the BIOS flash file
Navigate into the correct directory containing the BIOS flash file, and type in command suggested by the board MFG's to start the BIOS flash
Do not interrupt the process until the BIOS update is complete.

1. Download latest Supermicro firmware for system

2. Create Bootable USB Stick with Rufus, extract files into the newly created bootable USB stick

3. Extract files into the newly created bootable USB stick from Step 2

4. Turn on system, and boot into the bootable USB containing the BIOS flash file

5. Navigate into the correct directory containing the BIOS flash file, and type in command suggested by the board MFG's to start the BIOS flash

i.e. FLASH.BAT X10DRG7.726

6. Do not interrupt the process until the BIOS update is complete.
